Tasting Notes This wine opens with aromas of blueberry, plum, sage and porcini mushrooms with hints of vanilla and lavender. In the mouth the 2007 Winemaker’s Reserve is rich with silky tannins. The flavors are plum and raspberry surrounding hints of tea leaves, sage, and wild mushrooms. This is a big rich wine with the elegance and balance for which Howell Mountain is known.
