Cabernet Franc from our estate Howell Mountain vineyard displays complex aromas of blue and red berries, black tea, tobacco leaf, cedar and anise. Sweet oak and barrel spices are layered on the palate with notes of chalk, mineral and graphite, fine-grained tannin and notes of sweet herbs and spicebox. The finish is sleek and structured showing the trademark finesse and balance of Cabernet Franc from our Howell Mountain vineyards.

Vineyard Notes
We take our Cabernet Franc very seriously at Bravante Vineyards! Our 3 distinct blocks provide multiple varietal characteristics which help build our final blend of Cabernet Franc each vintage, as well as being very important blending components for the other estate wines we create. Two blocks of Cabernet Franc are located at our Stone Ridge Vineyard, located behind the winery, and a smaller block of Malbec is located a little further east on our Black Oak Vineyard.
